How To Cut Your Grocery Bill In Half and Still Go To Restaurants!

                          

In my home we are only two people; my husband and I.  

We are both entrepreneurs, so we work most of the time.   

I don't have time to prepare big meals, so we go to restaurants almost every day.

Between the two of us we used to spend $1,200 per month!  Incredible!

I knew I had to do something about it, but I didn't want to cut the restaurant time, since is the only moment we spend together talking about the day and next projects.

One day I sat down and made a real effort to cut cost in half, and be more efficient with our time and our so hard earned money.

After a few hours of figuring out a way, I found the solution.

I found how to save $600.00 per month, eat healthy, and still go out to restaurants and enjoy our time together! 

This is what I am going to share with you today and hopefully you can cut your cost too and enjoy a better living

 My goal was to cut my food cost in half, without compromising the quality of the food, or our time together in the restaurants. 

 I went from $1,200 expense per month to $600.00 per month.

 My budget was $150.00 to spend every week.

 FIRST:

 I separate $40.00 to go to restaurants twice a week, $20.00 each time, tip included.

Now, we only go to the restaurants we can afford, twice a week for dinner. We look forward to those days to enjoy our time together and feel we are having a great life!

Sometimes we only spend half of the money, so I save it for the next week and have more to spend on a fancier restaurant. 

 (There are many restaurants out there that can provide excellent meals for that price.  For example Norms has every Wednesday evening a 20% discount menu in every meal. Perfect!  We eat healthy and we don't go over our twenty dollar budget)

 Look around in your neighborhood and select places you would like to eat.  Ask what days they have discounts, coupons, etc. you will be surprised how much money you can save that day!

 SECOND:

 With the $110.00 left I go to the Market.  You will be amazed what you can do with this money!

 Hum! Does it mean now that I have to take time out of my schedule to cook?

Yes!  I discover that this is a well worth it time to spend preparing "Healthy Meals" for you and your husband or significant other.

 I shop at Ralphs Market and get $13.00 in rebate coupons just for shopping there plus they send me another $13 in coupons to spend on food that I like every month.

 This food will last you from 6 to 7 days.  

 For Breakfasts I buy:           Lunches (Make Salad)        Dinners

 We still have $38.63 more to go for extra things you want, water, juice, more vegetables, more fruit, more bread, more flower for your recipes, etc.
