Emotion Comet 110 Kayak Review
The Comet 110 is one of the latest from Emotion which is the longer version of a very popular award winning Comet kayak. The comet 110 comes in two different colors which is red and blue.
The Comet 110 is 11 ft in length compare to the original Comet which is only 8 ft long. This means that a longer version Comet 110 has a better final stability. Its width is 30 also 2.5 ft with a bit smaller in cockpit opening size compare to the original Comet but still making it you more comfortable while inside this kayak even if you're more than 6 ft tall. Its initial stability is excellent that makes it very stable while in water that even a beginner paddler will be feeling safe while inside this kayak. Because of its advantage in length over the original version its tracking speed is very good making it ideal for ocean kayaking. A bit heavier due to its size at 54 lbs but it can be easily carried by two person because it provides a carry handle at both ends. No need to worry for sinking because it provides an additional floatation bag and it can handle up to 350 lbs of weight.
The Comet 110 is made of Blow molded high density polyethylene plastic materials with a high resistant in UV rays to ensure its longer life span. This is also backup with a 3 year warranty on hull for your peace of mind.
The Comet 110 is loaded with lots of features like the heavy duty adjustable foot braces for a more comfortable and secure foot bracing with your own size. A ledge lock paddle keeper that secures your paddle while not in use in water. An added storage features are very useful so that you can load up more cargo on your kayak as well as for easy access.
