Are jetBlue pilots retired fighter pilots?

A buddy of mine recently moved to Long Beach , so I have been spending some time out there on the weekends.  Those of you that are familiar with this beach community also know that it lies directly under the landing path/approach for JFK.

My host (LBB) laughs at my obsession with this topic but i am convinced that jetBlue pilots are aggressive with their landing approaches at JFK.  Since I am not an expert on proper flight path procedures, my opinion is based solely on observation.  While every other airline seems to approach in an orderly fashion, jetBlue slides into their spots (actually, they bank really hard into their spots).

LBB took this picture of me staring at a jetBlue plane during breakfast on Sunday morning.  It may look like it is JUST turning, but from where we were sitting, it looked like it was a hard bank.  Oh yeah, jetBlue planes ALSO appear to approach at higher speeds than other airlines.  That makes complete sense since jetBlue seems to always be late.  Hurry up and wait!
